For nursing students in their junior or senior years of college at Brenau University and Piedmont College

Originally established in 1987, the purpose of this fund is to offer assistance to serious nursing students through awards to students who have proven their interest, ability and steadfastness in pursuit of a degree in Registered or Licensed Practical Nursing. The Voyageurs Militaire of the FORTY ET EIGHT is the honor society of the American Legionaires. Nurses Training is one of its major programs. The initial seed money for the fund was donated by Voyageur Charles M. Heathman.
