Holcomb Family Education Scholarship
Available to graduating seniors at Hall County and Gainesville City public high schools and GED recipients who are planning to pursue a degree in education.
 

Established at the North Georgia Community Foundation in 2008 by the Hall County Optimist Club, this scholarship honors long-time educators, J.H. Holcomb and his sisters, Margaret, Mildred, and Nell. With careers beginning shortly after World War II, the Holcombs served the children of Hall County and Gainesville more than 100 years total.
