Forsyth County Community Foundation
Working closely with a group of local leaders in Forsyth County, the Forsyth County Community Foundation (FFCF) was established in 2015 to better serve the specific needs of Forsyth County and allow donors to focus their charitable giving in their own community.
FCCF Advisory Board
The Forsyth County Community Foundation is governed by the NGCF board of directors but has a local advisory board of community leaders representing a cross-section of public interests in Forsyth County. The advisory board is chaired by Mary Helen McGruder.
The Forsyth County Community Foundation currently has one competitive grants program through its Forsyth County Arts Alliance Fund (FCAA). FCCA awards grants to organizations working to ensure the arts survive and thrive in Cumming-Forsyth County. Grant availability is announced each spring and a single grant generally will not be awarded for more than 50% of the total budget for any given program, project or event. Single grants are typically $10,000 or less.
