2024 Community Grant applications will be accepted July 15 – Aug. 15 at 5:00 PM
Gainesville, GA – The North Georgia Community Foundation (NGCF) announces the opening of their annual Community Grant Cycle. Starting July 15th, eligible organizations will have the opportunity to apply for grants up to $25,000 for programmatic or general operating needs. The application cycle will close on August 15th at 5:00 p.m.
This year marks the 25th anniversary NGCF has awarded these Community Grants, totaling nearly $2.2 MILLION across North Georgia. “Every year, we witness the remarkable impact these grants have on the organizations we serve and, more importantly, on the lives touched by their work.” said Michelle Prater, NGCF President & CEO. “Last year, this program awarded $429,000 to 46 deserving nonprofits; we look forward to exceeding that amount this year.”
In preparation for the grant cycle, NGCF will host an informative program on July 16th, providing valuable insights into the application process. While attendance is not mandatory for grant applicants, this program serves as a helpful resource for those seeking guidance. The program will be conducted by the experienced NGCF staff, ensuring attendees will receive a thorough understanding of the process.
