Two New NGCF Team Members
North Georgia Community Foundation Welcomes Two New Team Members
GAINESVILLE, Ga. – The North Georgia Community Foundation (NGCF) announced two recent additions to the organization’s team. Abigail Carter was hired as the Systems Administrator and Stephanie Gibbs as an Executive Assistant.
Abigail Carter is local to the region, having been born and raised in Jackson County and attending the University of North Georgia, where she earned a Bachelors in Business Administration. While in college and afterwards, Abi worked at the law firm of Whelchel, Dunlap, Jarrard and Walker LLP in Gainesville before transitioning to the non-profit sector where she was the Vice President of Operations and Finance at the United Way of Hall County. Abigail will work with all of the NGCF data management and grant management systems, as well as overseeing scholarship funds.
Stephanie Gibbs joins the NGCF team with an extensive background in real estate law and banking. She attended Lanier Technical College and the University of North Georgia. Stephanie gained much of her real estate knowledge by working with Gainesville law firms O’Kelley & Sorohan and Stewart, Melvin & Frost, LLP. Before joining the Foundation, she worked with McMichael and Gray, Attorneys at Law. As an Executive Assistant she will assist as support for the President & CEO and the Foundation’s strategies.
